The Multi-Cultural Center has partnered with the South Dakota Safety Council, the Department of Motor Vehicles and local law enforcement agencies to educate non-English speakers who want to obtain a South Dakota driver's license.  Classroom sessions and behind-the-wheel instruction are included.  Interpreters are proved by the Center in languages including Amharic, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, and more.  Certified trainers work with interpreters to ensure that participants fully comprehend the materials and applications of the program.  A nominal fee is charged for working participants, otherwise, the program is free.
