The Women's Health Program at the Multi-Cultural Center helps under-served
women to access health screenings and services. Women are linked to
educational sessions, chronic disease screenings, transportation and
interpreters. Home visits are often utilized to educate women, especially
refugee and immigrant women in reference to preventative health screenings.
The program operates in conjunction with the All Women Count! program and the
Avon Foundation Breast Care Fund. Chronic disease screenings are free of
charge if the client meets age and income eligibility guidelines.
Follow-up services are also included in the program.
